The Face Behind the Fragrance: My Journey of Faith and Healing

Welcome to Essences of God Candle Co.! If you have ever lit one of our vessels and felt a sudden wave of peace, I want to step out from the wax and introduce myself. My name is Regina Wallace, and I am the heart, hands, and prayers behind every single pour.

For a long time, my main creative outlet and work was hair braiding, an art I still love and practice today! However, when major health challenges and a total knee replacement surgery in 2021 forced me to slow down and sit still, I found myself at a crossroads. I turned entirely to prayer, asking God for direction on how to pivot.

The answer came in the most unexpected whisper from the Holy Spirit while watching a candle maker on TV, followed by a beautiful confirmation from a client. During my recovery, I officially delved into the art of candle making. What started as a prayer for a new path became a divine calling to create a literal atmosphere for the presence of God in your home.

Grounded in Psalms 18:28 ("For Thou will light my candle. The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness."), every blend of all-natural beeswax and soy is crafted to bring joy, light, and healing into your sacred spaces. Thank you for walking this journey of faith, resilience, and creativity with me!
